La Grange Park and former 35-year Berwyn and 25-year Stickney resident Stella Szumski, 93, died Jan. 7, 2008, in Lexington of La Grange.
Services were private.
Mrs. Szumski was a homemaker. She was a member of Senior Society of St. Leonard Church and enjoyed painting and gardening.
Survivors include her daughters Arelene Kennedy and Rose Kruse; 17 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Edward, and her daughter Evelyn Kennedy.
