In hopes of helping Honduran orphans, Brian Carlson of Stickney has spent months pulling together the pieces to create a new mobile laser tag company.
Finally, the business has become operational.
The fledgling business offers realistic laser tag modeled after popular video games like Call of Duty rather than the futuristic style common to earlier laser tag outfits.
Carlson's company, known as Battle Royale, also brings the game to outdoor venues, offers league competition and can even bring laser tag into the workplace as a team-building exercise.
Informed by his Christian faith, Carlson also spent years in Honduras teaching English to children. Unable to help orphans in the country as much as he would like, Carlson decided to return to the Chicago area.
A portion of the business proceeds will go back to helping Honduran orphans, Carlson said.
