Horrorbles in Berwyn is turning into Halloween headquarters with fang fittings, ghost tours and a prop-making workshop.

This is fang-tastic

Artist/Teacher Jason Kain will take orders and tooth casts for custom Vampire Fang-Fittings from 7 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Horrorbles.

A single set of vampire teeth is $100 and a double set is $200. All molds will be held for six months, in case another set of teeth is required. If a set breaks, there will be a $50 charge, depending on the severity of the repair.

Kain is a Chicagoland special effects makeup artist who has worked on such movies as "Van Helsing" and "Planet of the Apes." He's currently the head makeup and special effects artist and designer at the "Disturbia" haunted house in Addison, and the special effects makeup supervisor on Emil Hyde's upcoming feature "King of the Dead."

An arm and a leg

Kain returns to Horrorbles for a four-week prop-making class.

Students attending the workshop will get the chance to learn the process in which real Hollywood prop body parts are created. Students will be provided with the information and materials to create their own realistic prop body part that they will take home, and they'll learn techniques in casting, painting and hairing their own handmade prop limbs.

The four-week class will be conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays, with each class date running from 7 to 10 p.m. The dates are as follows: Oct. 11 & 13, 18 & 20 and 25 & 27.

The class is limited to eight spots. Tuition is $600 ($450 for the class and $150 for the materials), which requires a 50 percent down payment. The remainding tuition cost can be worked out through payments.

Drinking and seeing spirits

The Second Haunted Archer Avenue Ghost Tour and Pub Crawl is from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 23.

Patrons of the pub crawl, hosted by Horrorbles and the Reaper Madness, are encouraged to bring the beverage of their choice (except for kegs or glass bottles), as well as cameras, EMF detectors, personal recorders and any and all portable ghost-hunting equipment.

All attendees will receive a free commemorative shirt with the poster art, and there will be a prize for the best costume. The tour is expected to last almost four hours.

Tickets are available at www.horrorbles.com on the "Events" page or call (708) 484-7370. Seating is limited.

The undead rises — and walks around Berwyn

Another haunting walk and pub crawl occurs from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30.

The Berwyn Development Corporation partners with Roosevelt Road Business Association and Horrorbles to bring the Inaugural Roosevelt Road Zombie Walk and Pub Crawl.

The event will feature zombie makeup, a pub crawl, food and an afterparty designed to rival even your fondest memories of "Thriller."

The Zombie Walk is founded on the participation of Halloween-lover willing to take their zombie motif to the limit. To help, Horrorbles will sponsor makeup and costume staging from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Homescape Custom Builders and Designers, Inc., at 6823 W. Roosevelt Road and Citizens Community Bank, 7025 W. Roosevelt Road, both in Berwyn.

Once properly attired, zombies will be led on a pub crawl that will overtake 12th Street Rag, Friendly Tap and FitzGerald's, which is catering the afterparty with films and other fun. In the true spirit of the undead, zombies will proceed between venues in silence. Once the crawl is over, zombies can resume their search for brains at their favorite Berwyn haunts.

The Zombie Walk and Pub Crawl is $10, which includes admission, makeup and food. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Berwyn's 16th Street Theater.

For more information on the Zombie Walk, call (708) 788-8100.

Horrorbles is located at 6729 W. Roosevelt Road in Berwyn. For more information or to register for any of the events, call Horrorbles at (708) 484-7370 or visit www.horrorbles.com.
