The Berwyn Fire Department will hold its monthly CPR class from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 30.
The four-hour courses will be held at the new north end fire station, 6615 W. 16th St., or in the Community Room of the Berwyn Police Station, 6401 31st. St. Participants will learn to recognize the signs of a heart attack and stroke, how to assist someone who is choking, and how to assess unconscious patients.
The cost for the class is $35 for Berwyn residents and $50 for nonresidents. Interested participants can register at any of the three fire stations.
