Piper Award honors BDC member

The Berwyn Development Corp. will honor Scott Lennon at the corporation’s 24th annual Charles E. Piper Award dinner Nov. 7.
Lennon currently serves as vice president of the BDC Board of Directors, and chairs the Historic Depot District Special Event Committee, Marketing Committee and the New Business Taskforce. He was also instrumental in developing the “Why Berwyn?” marketing campaign, which features billboards around the Chicago area informing others of the city.
This year’s event will feature an old western theme with casino games, a raffle and silent auction fundraiser beginning at 6 p.m. at the Skylite West Banquet Hall, 7117 W. Ogden Ave., Berwyn.
