• There still are several slots open for the Au Sable youth camp that will be held from Sunday, July 20, through Friday, July 25. The co-ed camp presents an opportunity for kids to be introduced to the life of fly-fishing in a very unique setting. Camp will begin with a tour of the watershed led by Professor Mike Wiley, head of the Department of National Resources, who will emphasize the geology that makes the Au Sable watershed such a special ecological treasure. The campers will have an opportunity to see the richness of the fishery by participating in electro-shocking and placing a woody structure to improve habitat of the fishery.
