Aramis Ramirez of the Chicago Cubs will suit up Friday, though it won't be at third base for the Northsiders and it won't be at Wrigley Field.

Ramirez, the Cubs injured third baseman who has been out with a separated shoulder, will finish a rehab stint with the Peoria Chiefs when the Chiefs play at the Kane County Cougars at 6 p.m. Friday.

In addition to Ramirez, the game will feature the Cougars' typical fan-friendly entertainment, including performances by the Zooperstars between innings, a performance by the Jesse White Tumblers after the game, and an extended-length patriotic post-game fireworks show. Cougars players will also be signing autographs at 5:30 p.m. for a special autograph session.

Tickets are still available for the game, but they’re going quickly. Call the Cougars box office at (630) 232-8811 to order tickets or make picnic reservations, or to order online here.
