Ford van reported stolen from lot on Stevens Drive
Police said a resident reported a 1995 Ford Windstar van stolen from a parking lot between midnight and about 10:15 a.m. Feb. 23 along the 400 block of West Stevens Drive. No loss estimate or possible offender information was given.

SUV reported burglarized in Osco parking lot
Police said someone entered a Chevrolet Tahoe, which may have been unlocked, and removed six compact discs and a cell phone from the vehicle at about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Osco Drug, 140 W. Lake St., police said.

Cash, lock box taken in apartment burglary
Police said a resident along the 900 block of College Boulevard reported that someone broke into an apartment and removed a lock box containing $500 and personal papers between midnight Feb. 4 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 5, police said.

Snow blowers reported stolen from business
Police said a business along the 700 block of West Lake Street reported that someone had broke into two trailers in a fenced in area of the lot, and removed two snow blowers and a snow plow pump between 12 p.m. Feb. 2 and 2 p.m. Feb. 5, police said.  The value of the missing items and damage was listed at about $1,900, police said.

Local man charged for driving without license
Hugo Garcia Vega, 29, 940 W. Irving Park Road, Bensenville, was charged with driving without a license and a warrant for failure to appear in court at about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 24 along the 800 block of South York Road.

Elmhurst man charged with drunken driving
Carlos Martinez, 25, 421 Kenilworth, Elmhurst, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and no valid driver’s license at about 1:55 a.m. Feb. 23 along the 400 block of East Irving Park Road.

Two face drunkenness,  conduct charges
Jerry Williams, 47, 17 W 151 White Pines Road, and Christopher Robles, 45. 421 Grace St., both of Bensenville, were charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication at about 3 p.m. Feb. 22 at 7 S. Addison St., police said.

Police probe armed robbery
at Pantry Plus store
Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a local convenient store at about 11 p.m. Feb. 19.
According to police, three men entered Pantry Plus, 718 W. Irving Park Road, and one of them displayed a handgun and demanded money. Police said the men took an undisclosed amount from the cash register and  fled the scene. No suspect information was given, and no one was injured in the robbery.

Wood Dale resident charged with warrant violations
 Dane M. Lach, 41, 385 Catalpa Ave., Wood Dale, was charged after police said he had six outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court at about 10:30 a.m.. Feb. 19 at 1100 Grove Ave., police said.

Local woman reports gasoline tank damaged
Police said a woman along the 200 block of Green  Court reported that someone damaged her car by pouring sugar into the gas tank at about 2 p.m. Feb. 26, police said. No damage estimate was given on the vehicle.

Police investigate damage to ATM bank machine
Police responded to an alarm at a bank in Wood Dale at about 3:38 p.m. Feb. 24. When police arrived, they noticed that someone had shattered the screen glass on an automatic teller machine at Parkway Bank, 370 Georgetown Square. No damage estimate was given, and no money was reported taken from the machine.

Man charged with DUI, excessive speeding
Alfredo Perez, 31, no address given, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid license, and excessive speeding at about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 24 near Route 83 and Thorndale Avenue, police said.
