Car reported damaged at Dave & Buster’s
Police said a resident reported someone broke the driver’s side mirror of his Honda Civic while it was parked in the lot of a restaurant. The incident was reported at about 2:45 p.m. Feb. 10 at Dave & Buster’s, 1155 N. Swift Road, police said.

Offender seen on security camera taking scrap metal
Police said an employee of a local business reported an individual caught on camera taking scrap metal and electronics from a scrap bin at about 4:45 p.m. Jan. 29 at a business along the 500 block of Factory Road.
According to police, an unknown individual was observed on a security camera taking items Jan. 27 and 28. The scraps were valued at about $500, police said.
No description was given on the offender.

Police claim man prevented victim from calling for help
Shanmar A. Nair, 18, of the 100 block of North Iowa Street, Addison, was charged with interference with the reporting of a domestic dispute from a Jan. 8 incident. He was charged at about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 18 after police said he had a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody at the police station, police said.

Purse reported taken in car burglary
Police said a woman reported someone broke the passenger side window of a vehicle and took a purse from inside the car at about 6:45 p.m. Feb. 2 at Planet Fitness, 1445 W. Lake St., police said.

Navigation system taken during car burglary
Police said a resident reported that a global positioning system was stolen after someone shattered the passenger side window of a car parked along the 1200 block of West Lake Street at 4:45 p.m. Jan. 29, police said. No value was given on the unit.

Local man charged with drunken driving
Santiago Cardona, 25, 930 W. Irving Park Road, Bensenville, was charged with driving under the influence and no valid driver’s license at about 3 a.m. Feb. 10 along the 600 block of South York Road, police said.

Resident reports home peppered with paintballs
Police said a resident along the 400 block of West Green Street reported that someone shot his house with a paintball gun at about 1:45 a.m. Feb. 10, police said. No damage was reported by police.

Police investigate gunshot at George Street home
Police are investigating an incident involving a gunshot that was apparently fired into a residence along the 700 block of East George Street.
According to police, the woman found a bullet lying on her kitchen floor at about 1:30 p.m. Feb. 9. Police said an investigation revealed that someone had fired a shot that struck and entered the house.

Crystal Lake resident charged with battery
Lynee Rich, 49, of Crystal Lake, was charged with simple battery at 7:45 p.m. Feb. 8 at 111 W. Washington St., police said.

Man reports damage to his mailbox
A resident along the 80 block of Brentwood Drive reported that someone had damaged his mailbox at about 4 p.m. Feb. 8, police said.

Police said two took liquor from local store
Police said an employee at a local liquor store reported that two men took three bottles of liquor at about 8:15 p.m. Feb. 7 at Brentwood Liquors, 105 W. Grand Ave., police said.
No other description was given on the offenders.

Man changed with
damaging automobile
David Garcia, 20, of Mount Prospect, was charged with criminal damage to property after police said he allegedly broke a window on a car along the 500 block of Meyer Drive.
The incident occurred at about 4:15 p.m. Feb. 4, police said.

Wood Dale
Man says son’s sax
stolen at Park District
Police said a man reported that his son’s saxophone was stolen while he had the instrument at about 4:45 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Wood Dale Park District Recreation Center, 111 E. Foster Ave.
No value was given on the saxophone.

Student charged after making Internet threat
Wood Dale police said a Fenton High School student was charged with a local disorderly conduct ordinance after he made a threat on myspace.com. The incident occurred at about 10:20 a.m. Feb. 12 at the school, 1000 West Green Street, Bensenville, police said.
Police did not identify the student or what was written on the Web site.

Wood Dale man charged
with license violation
Daniel A. Imburgia, no age given, of 400 Foster Ave., Wood Dale, was charged with driving with a suspended license at about 9 p.m. Feb. 10 along the 300 block of North Ash Avenue.
Police also said he had an outstanding warrant from DuPage County.
