Criminal defacement reported on Swift Road

An employee at a hotel reported graffiti was sprayed on the building’s wall at about 7:30 a.m. Nov. 9 along the 500 block of North Swift Road, police said.

Police investigate incident at a bank

Police said they are investigating a suspicious incident at a bank after a man entered the building and said he wanted to open an account. Police said the man was looking around in a suspicious manner and was elusive when asked personal information that would be needed to open the account, and returned to his vehicle numerous times before finally leaving the scene.

The incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 2 along the 1600 block of West Lake Street, police said. No description was given.

Window of home damaged by rock

A resident along the 100 block of Catalpa Street reported that someone threw a rock through a window on the west side of the residence at about 7:15 p.m. Nov. 2, police said.

Hershel D. Pearson, 20, 420 N. Mill Road, Addison, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 1:45 p.m. Oct. 25 at 800 W. Lake St., police said.

Local man, 35, charged with public drunkenness

John Bauer, 35, 1035 Twin Oaks Road, Bensenville, was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct at about 9:15 a.m. Nov. 15 at his home, police said.

Bensenville man charged with domestic battery

James Michael Bork, 53, of the 100 block of South Lincoln Street, was charged with domestic battery at about 2 a.m. Nov. 15 at his home, police said.
Police also charged Jason A Bork, 22, with an outstanding warrant charge, police said.

Truck window reported smashed on Walnut St.

A resident along the 300 block of South Walnut Street reported that someone broke the window of his pickup truck using a shovel at about midnight Nov. 14, police said.

Police allege Lombard man had suspended license

Devon Burnett, 23, 21W551 North Ave., Lombard, was charged with driving with a suspended license at about 9:15 p.m. Nov. 13 near Center Street and Woodlawn Avenue, police said.

IPods reported stolen from airport shipment

An employee of a Wood Dale shipping company reported that five Apple iPods were missing from an order sent to the company from O’Hare International Airport at about 3:15 p.m. Nov. 19 at Geo Logistics, 1121 N. Wood Dale Road, police said.

No loss estimate was given on the items.

Police probe theft of vacuum cleaners

Police said an employee at a local department store reported four Dyson vacuum cleaners valued at $2,066 missing between Nov. 11 and Nov. 17 at Target, 701 W. Irving Park Road.

Two charged after domestic battery incident

Richard C. Schultz, 35, and Amy Beth Kruse, 32, both of the 400 block of North Elmwood Avenue, were charged with domestic battery at about 10:15 a.m. Nov. 18 at their residence, police said.

Addison man, 25, charged with driving drunk

Stanislaw Lodzinski, 25, 615 Briar Hill Lane, No. 1, Addison, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 2:15 a.m. Nov. 17 near the intersection of Irving Park Road and Spruce Street, police said.
