Car burglaries reported along Mill Road
Two motor vehicle burglaries recently were reported along the 500 block of North Mill Road.
The incidents occurred between 10 p.m. April 20 and 10 a.m. April 21, police said.
In both cases, police said several items were taken from each vehicle; damages and items stolen were not specified.
Semi-trailer reported damaged at business
An employee of a local business reported several items stolen from a damaged semi-trailer sometime between 1 p.m. April 19 and 10 a.m. April 21 at an unnamed business along the 700 block of south Rohlwing Road, police said.
Three buildings reported defaced with graffiti
Three different cases of criminal defacement from graffiti recently were reported by village building owners, according to police reports.
The first occurred sometime between midnight April 5 and noon April 10 on the 900 block of north Rohlwing Road.
Another incident at the same location was reported at about 3 p.m. April 18, police said.
A separate case was reported between 6 p.m. April 16 and 6 a.m. April 17 on the 200 block of Michael Lane, police said.
Car reported damaged along Ruga Court
A resident reported that his vehicle was damaged sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. April 21 on the 100 block of Ruga Court, police said.
Bensenville
Several computers reported stolen at local business
Several portable computers were reported stolen from a holding facility at about 4:45 p.m. April 24 at an unnamed business on the 400 block of Thomas Drive, police said.
Man assaulted while sitting in his car
A resident reported he was assaulted by an unknown person while sitting in his car outside of a business on the 1000 block of S. York Road, according to police reports.
The resident said he was approached by a man and punched twice in the face at about 8:30 p.m. April 24.
No injures were reported, and no further description was given of the attacker, police said.
Residents report mailboxes stolen
Police are investigating a pair of theft complaints after two homeowners reported mailboxes were taken from their homes.
The first incident was reported at about 5:30 p.m. April 24 on the 300 block of Hawthorne Avenue.
A second complaint was made at about 8:30 p.m. the same evening on the 300 block of Red Oak Street.
Bensenville woman charged with disorderly conduct
Brenda Cano, 26, 125 Bernice Drive, Bensenville, was charged with disorderly conduct at about 10:30 p.m. April 23 at her home, police said.
Police allege resident had suspended license
Jacque Miller, 20, 644 S. York Road, Bensenville, was charged with driving with a suspended license at about 4:30 p.m. April 23 near the intersection of George Street and York Road, police said.
