Woman reports purse taken at Dave & Buster’s
Police said a woman reported her purse had been taken while she was playing video games at a local restaurant. The incident was reported at about 1 a.m. Jan. 12 at Dave & Buster’s, 1155 N. Swift Road.
Police said the purse was found by another customer out in the parking lot, and several items were taken. No loss estimate was given.

Chicago man charged with public indecency
Brett Sainaubin, 40, of Chicago was charged with public intoxication and public indecency at about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at 641 S. York Road, police said.

Items reported stolen during car burglary
A resident along the 1200 block of Ellis Street reported someone broke into his vehicle and removed a television/VCR and stereo at about 12:45 p.m. Jan. 18, according to police reports.
No loss estimate was given on the items.

Local man faces battery charges
Glen R. Roe, no age given, 1480 Maple Ridge Court, Bensenville, was charged with battery at about 3 p.m. Jan. 15 along the 900 block of Thorndale Drive, police said.

Chicago man charged with weapon use
Xavier Rios, 22, of Chicago, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and no valid driver’s license at about 9 a.m. Jan. 14 at Lincoln Street and York Road, police said.

Porch screen reported damaged in burglary
A resident along the 100 block of North Walnut Avenue reported someone had cut a screen and entered the porch area of the home at about 6:15 p.m. Jan. 21, police said.
Nothing was reported taken in the incident. Damage to the screen was reported at about $80, according to police reports

Money, jewelry taken in home burglary
A resident along the 100 block of East Windsor Avenue reported someone had entered the residence through an unlocked first floor window and removed several items at about 6:45 p.m. Jan. 21, according to police reports.
 Police said a wallet and several pieces of jewelry were taken. No loss estimate was given on the items.

Man charged with felony retail theft
John Kozlow, Jr., 54, no address given, was charged with felony retail theft at about 1:45 p.m. Jan. 21 at Jewel-Osco, 343 W. Irving Park Road. Police said Kozlow was transported to DuPage County Jail. No indication was given on what was allegedly taken from the store.
