Car part reported taken from company vehicle
Police said an employee of a local business reported that a catalytic converter was removed from a box truck between midnight and 3 a.m. Dec. 21 outside of an unnamed business along the 800 block of Fiene Drive, police said. No value was given on the item.
Vehicle reported burglarized at Wal-Mart
Police said a resident reported that her purse, which contained a wallet and credit cards, was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle Dec. 16 outside of Wal-Mart, 1050 N. Rohlwing Road, police said.
Computer, jewelry taken in apartment burglary
A resident along the 400 block of Stevens Drive reported that someone entered an apartment unit and took a Hewlett Packard computer, jewelry, cash and prescription medication between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Dec. 14, police said.
The resident told police the front door had been locked when they left, but was unlocked when they returned. No loss estimate was given on the items.
Property damage reported at College Blvd. apartments
Police said a resident along the 800 block of College Boulevard reported someone vandalized a hallway in one of the apartment buildings there at about 7 p.m. Dec. 15.
According to police, an offender used a weapon or a tool to break two lights, damage drywall, and wrote graffiti and stick figures on he walls and stairwell railing, police said. No damage estimate was given.
Residential burglary reported along Hickory Trail
Police said a resident along the 900 block of Hickory Trail reported someone had forced entry into a residence, and removed money and jewelry between 8:30 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. Dec. 10, police said. No loss or damage estimate was given.
Compartment door reported stolen
Police said an employee of a business along the 1800 block of West Fullerton Avenue reported an engine compartment door for a refrigerated trailer was missing after the trailer was parked on the north side loading dock of the business sometime between 4 p.m. Dec. 4 and 2:30 a.m. Dec. 5, police said.
The value of the door was estimated at $800.

Police investigate incident involving former employee
Police said an employee of a local business reported a former employee had unlawfully charged $1,600 on the company credit card at about 12:30 p.m. Jan. 2 at a business along the 100 block of N. Ellis Street, police said.
Police said the case is under investigation.
Juveniles charged with damaging vacant homes
Bensenville police said four juveniles between the ages of 14 and 15 were charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property for damaging vacant homes owned by the city of Chicago. The incident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. Dec. 30 along the 0-100 block of O’Hare Court, police said.
Local resident charged with disorderly conduct
Beverly G. Mraz, 51, 417 Park St., Bensenville, was charged with disorderly conduct at about 6:30 p.m. Dec. 29 at 7 Addison St., police said.

License plates reported stolen from vehicle
Police said a resident along the 200 block of Lafayette Street reported that the front and rear license plates were taken off a van. The incident was reported at about 3:45 p.m. Jan. 6, police said.
Resident reports money withdrawn from account
Police said a resident along the 500 block of N. Edgewood Avenue reported someone had taken $1,034 from her bank account at Harris Bank by using a bank card. The incident was reported at about 5:15 p.m. Jan. 8, police said.
