
In recognition of April being designated as Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness Month, College of DuPage will host its fourth annual Child Abuse/Sexual Assault Awareness Fair from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 20, at the college, 425 Fawell Boulevard, Glen Ellyn.
The program will take place in the Student Resource Center (SRC) in the hallway outside the Library.
Sponsored by the College’s Human Services program, the event is designed to bring awareness to the community about child abuse and sexual abuse.
Several organizations will sponsor resource booths, including the DuPage Area YWCA, Hamdard Center, Family Shelter Services, Positive Parenting and SARET.
College representatives also will be available from the college’s counseling office, criminal justice program, endowment for future generations, nursing program, human services program and the COD police department.
This event is free and open to the community.
