Lombard Arts Coalition invites community to make banners

Lombard Arts Coalition, in cooperation with Lombard Park District, will hold two free art workshops in September to prepare for October’s Illinois Arts & Humanities Month.
Participants will make fall banners from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays, Sept. 20 and 27, in the Art Room of Sunset Knoll Recreation Center, 820 S. Finley Road, Lombard. A number of the banners made by workshop participants will be chosen to go on display at the library and in several of Lombard’s downtown businesses during October.
Participants need only attend one of the sessions. Space is limited. Those interested in participating should call Lombard Arts Coalition at (630) 415-3656 to reserve space on their preferred date.
