In the largest criminal drug conspiracy operation brought down by the Chicago Police Department, a St. Charles resident, the alleged "Four Corner Hustlers" boss, was arrested on a charge of felony cannabis violation.

Kane County State’s Attorney John Barsanti is tired of seeing drunk drivers escape conviction and is testing out “No Refusal” weekends in the Tri-Cities to thwart repeat DUI offenders from refusing to submit to a breath test.
In April, Kane County racked up 161 drunk driving arrests, and 43 refused to submit a breath test.
