St. Charles, IL -

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information regarding vandalism of the school’s varsity boys’ baseball field Thursday.

The message “u will die” was written in paint along the back wall of the home players’ dugout, according to a release from Community Unit School District 303.

In a message to parents Friday, Bob Miller, principal of St. Charles East High School, and Kim Zupec, principal of St. Charles North High School, urged parents to emphasize to their children that acts of vandalism would not be tolerated by the district.

Individuals with information about the vandalism are asked to call (630) 443-5700.
