Windmill Whirl 5K a “runner’s dream”

BATAVIA, IL -
At 7 p.m. July 10, the Windmill Whirl 5k Race, which the Batavia Park District calls a “runner’s dream,” will kick off as part of the Windmill City Festival.
The race will start in front of the Government Center on Island Avenue.
Runners who participate will receive a T-shirt and beverages after the race.
Awards will be given to the three overall males and females and the top three runners in each category.
The cost to participate is $20 if registered by July 2 or $25 on race day.
Registration forms can be downloaded on the homepage of the Batavia Park District’s Web site.
Forms can be faxed to (630) 879-9537 or dropped off at the Park District Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St., or the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St.
