Batavia holds 4th of July parade

BATAVIA, IL -

At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 4, Batavia will hold its annual Fourth of July March at the River Parade.

The city invites residents to go to Peg Bond Center, 327 W. Wilson St. at 10:15 a.m. for balloons, cups of lemonade and plenty of “parade cheer.”

Marching will start 15 minutes later, along with speech readings from America’s forefathers, songs and a flower toss.

The parade will be sponsored by Foltos Tonsorial Parlor, 7 E. Wilson St. For information, call Craig Foltos at (630) 879-5253.
