
Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, the Midwest’s largest entertainment resort, announces the return of live concerts to its Mega Center.
Country Music Awards’ duo-of-the-year nominee Montgomery Gentry will kick off the concert series at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1. Opening will be Keith Anderson, the Grammy- and CMA-nominated singer-songwriter whose hit “C’mon!” topped the charts. An afterparty sponsored by radio’s US99.5 FM will showcase the touring act Cross County Junction.
Jeff Foxworthy and his Kickin’ Country Road Show will be featured Friday, Dec. 12. Two Midwest touring musical acts will precede his comedy performance. Foxworthy is host of the Fox television series “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?,” and has his own syndicated radio show. With 13 million albums sold, he is the largest-selling comedian of all time.

‘Jersey Boys’ star
Michael Ingersoll and his five-piece band will bring “The Long Road Home” tour to Pheasant Run’s Mainstage at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17.
Ingersoll received raves for his portrayal of Nick Massi of The Four Seasons in the Chicago production of “Jersey Boys.”
He made his movie debut in “Walk the Line,” and recently filmed an episode of the FBI drama “The Beast,” with Patrick Swayze, scheduled to air in 2009. He will sing musical theater songs, swing to some Rat Pack tunes, and entertain with behind-the-scenes celebrity stories of Jay Leno, Tony Bennett and his movie experiences.
