Board of Education OKs boundary changes

BATAVIA, IL -
The following boundary changes have been approved by the Batavia Public School District 101 Board:
• All elementary-age children residing in the area bordered on the east by the Fox River, the west by Randall Road, the south by Main Street and the north by Wilson Street will be re-assigned from Grace McWayne to Alice Gustafson School.
• All elementary-age children residing in the Amli Apartments east of Kirk Road will be re-assigned from Louise White to J.B. Nelson School.
• All elementary-age children in Savannah Crossing Townhomes (new construction west of Wal-Mart at the northwest corner of Kirk and Butterfield roads) will be assigned to J.B. Nelson School.
• All students enrolled in Grace McWayne and Louise White Schools during the 2007-08 school year who reside in the areas defined in this recommendation and will be in fifth grade during the 2008-09 school year may choose to continue attendance at their current school.
• Students living in the Green Meadows Apartments will be re-assigned from Grace McWayne to H. C. Storm.
