Co-op members moving on to sectional tourney

South Elgin/Bartlett/Streamwood
The South Elgin/Bartlett/Streamwood co-op girls golf team finished fifth at Wednesday’s Class 2A Prairie Ridge regional at Prairie Isle Golf Course in Crystal Lake with a score of 411, but a pair of golfers qualified for Monday’s sectional meet at Ingersoll in Rockford.
Carly Schneider’s 83 was second among advancing individuals. She will be joined at the sectional tournament by Samantha Coyne, who made to the next round with a score of 93.
St. Charles East (339) easily won the regional title, topping fellow sectional qualifying teams from St. Charles East (357) and Prairie Ridge (372).
