A Bartlett resident was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and assault Saturday.

Marie D. Latorre, 44, of 511 Hampton Circle, was charged with a Class A misdemeanor for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and a Class C misdemeanor for assault.

At about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Bartlett police officers responded to 511 Hampton Circle for a report of an underage drinking party. While there, police said they were approached by another resident, who said she was assaulted by Latorre when she went to the residence to pick up her teenager. Police said her teen consumed alcoholic beverages while attending a party at 511 Hampton Circle.

During the investigation, police found a suspicious black 2007 GMC vehicle parked on Camdon Circle and Amherst Drive. Police alleged the 16-year-old male and 14-year-old female juvenile occupants consumed alcoholic beverages while attending the party at 511 Hampton Circle. They both were charged with underage drinking and curfew violation.

Police also cited another 16-year-old female juvenile for underage drinking.

Latorre was released on a $1,000 recognizance bond with a court date Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the DuPage County court facility in Wheaton. The 16-year-old female juvenile was issued a court date of Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Cook County Court facility in Rolling Meadows. The 16-year-old male and the 14-year-old female also have court dates Dec. 22 in Rolling Meadows.
