Bank threatened
Harris Bank received two calls threatening to burn the bank down at about 11 p.m. July 3 at 335 S. Main St., police said.

Laptop reported taken
A laptop valued at $3,500 was taken from a vehicle July 3 while it was parked at Villa Olivia,1401 W. Lake St., police said.

Gas tank damaged
A vehicle was damaged after a chocolate candy bar had been pushed into the gas tank July 4 while parked on Ford Lane. The damage is estimated at $1,000, police said.

Money taken
About $750 was taken from a resident’s safe after it was pried open while the resident was on vacation at about 2 p.m. July 4 at Stonegate Drive, police said.

DUI alleged
Michael Leal, 44, 1006 Poplar Drive, Bartlett, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use at about 9:30 p.m. July 4 at Stearns and Kent roads, police said.

Food damaged properties
Three residents reported food had been thrown on their property July 7 on Nightingale Drive, police said.

Suspicious man reported
A resident of Groton Court reported a suspicious man wearing a safety vest, claiming he was a village employee reading meters at about 10 a.m. July 7. The public works director believes this man does not work for the village, police said.

HANOVER PARK
Camcorder taken
A camcorder was taken from a parked vehicle at about noon July 5 on the 6800 block of Highland Street, police said.

Domestic battery alleged
Gina Carbone, 20, 5748 Essex Court, Hanover Park, was arrested for charges of domestic battery and endangering the health of a child at about 12:15 p.m. July 5 at her residence, police said.

Illegal fireworks reported
Laura Patino, 21, 7411 Astor Ave., Hanover Park, was arrested for charges of illegal fireworks at about 7:30 p.m. July 4 at her residence, police said.

Vehicle parts taken
A resident reported his vehicle hood and motor parts were taken from his vehicle at about 6:30 p.m. July 3 on the 5800 block of Easton Court, police said.

Vehicle reported stolen
A 2005 Chrysler was stolen at about 6 a.m. June 18 from the 1300 block of Kingsbury Drive, police said.

Wallet taken, charges made
After a wallet was taken from a vehicle, fraudulent charges were made to a Hanover Park resident’s credit card at about 10:30 a.m. June 20 on the 1400 block of Sacramento Drive, police said.

STREAMWOOD
Bike reported stolen
A silver BMX bicycle valued at $250 was stolen from a residence on the 700 block of Stowell Avenue at about 7:15 p.m. July 1, police said.

Solar lights taken
Solar lights valued at $60 were taken from a resident’s backyard at about 10:30 p.m. July 1 on the first block of Berkhire Court, police said.

Flag taken
An American flag was taken from a residence’s lawn at about midnight July 2 on the 1200 block of Oak Ridge Drive, police said.

DUI arrest
Kenneth Aulbert, 45, 2360 Bayside Drive, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane use at about 1:30 a.m. July 5 at West Irving Park and Sutton roads, police said.

Air conditioners stolen
Two air condition units were taken from a condominium after the door was forced open at about 3:45 p.m. July 5 at 5011 Valley Lane, police said.
