Resident faces DUI charge
Tony Hernandez, 21, 257 Nordic Road, Apt. GW, Bloomingdale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 10:31 p.m. Oct. 6.

Radar detector stolen
A radar detector, valued at $1,200, was stolen from a car parked on the 100 block of Seneca Trail between 6:30 p.m.  Oct. 5 and 6:50 a.m.  Oct. 6. The car’s front passenger window also was shattered.

Car stolen from Marriott
A 1993 Ford, valued at $800, was stolen from the parking lot of the Courtyard by Marriott, 275 Knollwood Drive, between 1 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 8.

Man charged with fleeing
Scott P. Giggie, 17, 636 Nassau Drive, Roselle, was charged with fleeing and attempting to elude a peace officer, failure to signal when required, red-light violation, driving in the wrong lane and stop-sign violation at 9:43 p.m.  Oct. 10 near Springfield and Butterfield drives.

Dixon residents face charges
Joshua Schaefer, 35, of Dixon was charged with disorderly conduct, aggravated assault and resisting arrest after his vehicle was pulled over at 1 a.m. Sunday  on the 100 block of Gary Avenue.
Police also charged the driver of the vehicle, Dawn M. Liss, 37, also of Dixon with driving under the influence.

Teen faces drug charges
 Derek Larson, 18, 1120 Bradbury, Carol Stream, was charged with possession of marijuana and consumption of alcohol by a minor at 11:20 p.m.  Oct. 9 on the 1000 block of Hillcrest Avenue.

Glendale heights
Protection order violated
Michael J. Earl, 43, no address given, was charged with violating an order of protection after he allegedly entered a residence where he was not allowed to go at 11: 45 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of Cedar Street.
Police said Earl also had an outstanding warrant for violating a similar order.

Itasca
Car burglarized; tools taken
A global positioning system unit, a radar detector and power tools were stolen from a car parked outside Extended Stay Suites, 1181 N. Rohlwing Road,. The incident was reported at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 3.
A loss estimate was not available.

Man faces DUI charge
Jorge Crespo, 41, no address given, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:14 a.m. Oct. 4 near Thorndale Avenue and Interstate 290.

DUI charges filed
n Jodie M. Tipton, 26, of Bartlett was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 1 a.m. kbeese Oct. 3 at West Lake Street and Springfield Drive.
n Bogdan Nowakowski, 53, of Burbank was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 4 at East Ardmore Avenue and East Irving Park Road.
n Shannon E. Purkey, 30, of Hanover Park was charged with  driving under the influence of alcohol after being stopped at the Elgin-O’Hare Expressway and Roselle Road at 2 a.m.  Oct. 5.
