Tools taken from van
About $2,000 worth of tools were taken from an unlocked van parked at Home Depot at about 9:30 a.m. April 17 at 950 S. Route 59, police said.

Students cited for fighting
Jonathan Vences, 17, a 16-year-old and two 15-year-old students at Bartlett High School were cited for fighting at about 1:15 p.m. April 17 at 701 W. Schick Road, police said.

Paintball guns fired
An individual at Bartlett High School reported paintballs being shot on the southeast side of the building at about 7:15 a.m. April 17 at 701 W. Schick Road, police said.

iTouch MP3 player stolen
A black iTouch MP3 player valued at $400 was stolen at a party at about 7:15 p.m. April 16 on Biltmore Drive, police said.

CDs stolen
About 10 CDs, a sewing machine and sewing kit valued at $620 were taken from a garage at about 6:45 p.m. April 16 on Tallgrass Drive, police said.

Bike taken
A bicycle was taken from a porch between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. April 15 on Sandpiper Court. Estimated value is $89, police said.

Tool boxes taken
Three tool boxes valued at $850 were taken from a vehicle inside a garage after the door was left open April 15 on Morning Glory Lane, police said.

Vehicle damaged
A vehicle parked on Ladysmith Road was found scratched on the hood, trunk and sides with a sharp object overnight April 15, police said.

Vehicle egged
A vehicle was egged at about 10:45 p.m. April 14 while parked on Village Lane, police said.

Clothing taken
About $70 worth of clothing were taken from a black vinyl bag between April 6 and April 7 on Crescent Court, police said.

Graffiti found on fence
The word “Jerk” was written in purple spray paint on a fence between 5 p.m. April 11 and 6 a.m. April 14 at Woodland Heights Elementary School, 900 S. Park Blvd., police said.

DUI alleged
Luis Wieliczko, 27, 121 Oliver Court, Schaumburg, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use at about 12:45 a.m. April 13 near Woodland Heights Boulevard and Buttitta Drive, police said.

HANOVER PARK
Coins taken
A jar of coins valued at $50 was taken at about 3:15 p.m. April 16 from a home at 1951 Ontarioville Road, police said.

Drugs found
Angela M. Eggerstedt, 26, of Elgin was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana at about 2 p.m. April 16 at Center Avenue and Lake Street, police said.

Graffiti found
Graffiti was discovered at the Shire’s Restaurant, 6794 Barrington Road, at about 9:45 a.m. April 15, police said.

Vehicle burglarized
A vehicle was burglarized at about 4 p.m. April 14 on the 2600 block of Lake Street, police said.
