Taxi driver found with stun gun, knife

A taxi driver was arrested about 10 p.m. Saturday after police found a stun gun and pocket knife in the driver’s vehicle.
Dae H. Kwak, 57, 300 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, was arrested on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and no driver’s license after police found a black Talon 250 stun gun and pocket knife under the driver’s seat.
Kwak said he wanted the weapons for protection because being a taxi driver is dangerous, police said.
