Hanover Township to give away meal boxes Tuesday

Hanover Township Food Pantry will give away holiday meal boxes to needy families on Tuesday, Dec. 21 beginning at 10 a.m. in the township parking lot, 250 S. Route 59.

The meal boxes are being sponsored by the Bartlett Lions Club and Streamwood VFW Post 5151.

Those receiving a meal box will need to provide a valid driver's license or state I.D. along with a Hanover Township Food Pantry card.

"We know families are hurting right now and we are fortunate to work with our friends in the community to provide meals for those struggling to celebrate the holidays," said Supervisor Brian P. McGuire in a statement.
