Township to hold recycling event

Hanover Township will hold a recycling extravaganza event Saturday, August 14 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the township, 250 S. Route 59.

Township residents may drop off items such as electronics, scrap metal, propane tanks, car and marine sealed batteries and more. Shredding will also be available onsite for those who wish to dispose of sensitive documents.

Additional items that will be accepted from local community organizations include unwanted bicycles, tattered American flags and unwanted eyeglasses or hearing aids.  Hanover Township Highway Commissioner P. Craig Ochoa is organizing this event on behalf of the township.
