If you’ve ever wondered about Bartlett’s most historic and notable citizens, now’s your chance to take a trip into the past with a cemetery walk on Saturday, Sept. 18 at Bartlett Cemetery, North and Olive Avenues. Featured citizens will include Dr. E. C. Guild, Fred Schick, Mary Niewisch Kramer, Minnie Humbracht and “Red” Knowles. Current Bartlett residents will portray them at their grave sites in historical costume and character.

The ongoing walks begin at 1 p.m. and last until 3 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the cemetery entrance at 12:30 p.m. the day of the walk. Ticket prices for adults 16 and over will cost $5 and children 8 and up will be $2. For information, call (630) 289-8592 or e-mail carolbartletthissoc@comcast.net.
