Hanover Park police officer wins county award

Hanover Park police officer Daniel Kosartes was presented with the Cook County Sheriff’s Award of Merit at a ceremony on Nov. 9 at the Chicago Cultural Center.

The award is presented each year to Cook County law enforcement officers for exemplary service and professionalism. Kosartes was awarded for his work ethic and contribution to several major cases this past year, according to Hanover Park police.
