Bartlett Police remind residents of Trick-or-Treat hours

Halloween trick-or-treat hours will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31.

Those who wish to handout Halloween candy should turn on the front porch light, police said.

Police also encourage residents to abide by the following safey tips this Halloween:

  • Children are encouraged to be accompanied by a parent or large group of friends while trick-or-treating.
  • Children are encouraged to trick-or-treat in close proximity to their homes.
  • Children should carry a flashlight or glow sticks while trick-or-treating at night.
  • Drivers should exhibit extra caution while driving on Halloween.
  • A parent should inspect Halloween candy before eating. If any candy is open, do not eat.
