Bartlett, IL -

Police arrested a 16-year-old male after receiving several reports about a naked man covered in blood running around the area asking for help.

The teen was arrested under charges of possession of marijuana and consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 10:30 p.m. July 11 near Stearns Road and Prospect Avenue.

After locating the boy, police discovered he had consumed a large amount of vodka and smoked marijuana. He then reportedly broke into the village of Bartlett’s well pumping station next to Centennial Elementary School, 234 E. Stearns Road, police said.

Several windows were broken and covered in blood; police believe he received his injuries there.

He was transported to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates for treatment.
