Electronics taken
A laptop computer, an MP3 player, $30, a wallet and 60 compact discs were reported stolen from unlocked vehicle in an open garage at 8 p.m. July 19 on Woodhaven Drive.
Credit-card fraud alleged
A Harvard Lane resident reported $16.28 was charged on one of her credit cards at 4:30 p.m. July 19.
Battery alleged
Thomas Graf, 48, 113 Seventh Ave., was arrested on charges of domestic battery at 2 p.m. July 19 at his home.
Briefcase taken
A briefcase containing two packs of cigarettes and a tape recorder, with a total value of $379, were taken July 18 from a vehicle on Deanna Drive.
Battery arrest
James Kannenberg, 57, 979 Trailside Lane, was arrested on charges of domestic battery at 10:30 p.m. July 18 at his home.
Portable toilets damaged
Four female juveniles pushed over portable toilets at Nature Ridge Elementary School, 1899 Westridge Blvd., at about 5 p.m. July 17.
Items taken
A laptop, diamond pendent and ring, with a total value of $4,300, were taken July 16 from a home on Newcastle Lane after access was gained through the basement window.

Vehicle burglarized
A GPS unit, coins, hand tools and paper were taken from a vehicle at 7 a.m. July 18 on the 1200 block of Bristol Road.
DUI alleged
Amy Luzuriaga-Coronel, 18, 1531 Sacramento Drive, Hanover Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 2 p.m. July 18 at Barrington Road and Laurel Avenue.
Street signs stolen
Street signs and a pole were stolen at 11 a.m. July 17 at Zepplin and Whitney drives.
Phone taken
A woman’s cellular telephone was taken at about 3 p.m. July 16 while she was shopping at Caputo’s, 1260 Lake St.
DUI arrest
John L. Lyonga, 28, 1820 Marigold Lane, Hanover Park, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol July 16 at his home.
STREAMWOOD
Handicapped placard taken
A resident’s handicapped placard was taken within 10 minutes of leaving her vehicle unattended on the 1000 block of Oak Ridge Drive while putting groceries away.
Cash taken
A bag containing $3,150 was taken from a vehicle parked at 2:45 p.m. July 14 in the Wendy’s parking lot, 881 S. Sutton Road. The owner of the bag said he was going to use the money to pay his employees.
Rear window broken
A vehicle parked at Village Hall, 301 E. Irving Park Road, had its rear window broken out between 7:45 and 11:15 p.m. July 11.
DUI alleged
Humberto Chavez, 32, 5537 Court G, Hanover Park, was arrested on charges of speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol and no driver’s license at 12:30 a.m. July 12 at Tanglewood Avenue and Barrington Road.
DUI arrest
Jorge Vanegas, 40, of Elgin, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:15 a.m. July 12 at West Schaumburg and West Irving Park roads.
