A woman who passed out at the wheel of her vehicle Tuesday crashed into the playground at Centennial School in Bartlett.
The woman, 37, who also had a toddler with her, was traveling eastbound on Stearns Road when her 2003 Ford Explorer veered into a basketball post at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
No one was injured, but the woman and toddler were taken to the hospital as a precaution, said Bartlett Sgt. Charles Snider.
The driver suffers from a medical condition causing her to temporarily lose consciousness, police said.
Police did not issue any citations, but will submit a letter to the Secretary of State’s Office for the woman’s license re-examination.
