Man arrested on warrant
Paul A. Jednoroz, 30, 821 Aegean Drive, Schaumburg, was arrested at Lake Street and Red Oak Drive at 3:25 a.m. May 27 and charged with driving under the influence, no insurance, speeding and a warrant for military desertion. Jednoroz was bonded on the traffic charges and given a court date of June 24 in Rolling Meadows. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail to await extradition on the warrant.
Disorderly conduct
Anitra M. Campbell, 31, 517 Illinois Ave., Elgin, was arrested at Cadillac Ranch, 1175 W. Lake St., and given a citation for disorderly conduct at 1:39 a.m. on May 28. She was released on her signature and will appear in court June 17 in Rolling Meadows.
DUI charges filed
• Jonathan J. Paez, 30, 23 W 565 Turner Ave., Roselle, was arrested at Prospect and Devon avenues at 2:35 p.m. May 28 and charged with driving under the influence and not wearing a seatbelt. Paez was released on bond and will appear in court June 12 in Rolling Meadows.
• Arturo Conte, 22, 34W249 Country Club Road, St. Charles, was arrested at Route 25 and Southwind Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level .08, uninsured vehicle and disobeying a no passing zone. Conte was released on bond and has a court date June 18 in St. Charles.
• Khiem Duy Tran, 26, of Memphis, Tenn., was arrested at Kingston Lane and Stearns Road and charged with speeding, uninsured motor vehicle, driving under the influence and having a blood alcohol level over .08 at 12:34 June 1. Tran was released on bond and has a court date July 7 in Wheaton.
Theft citation
Ahsanti Hines, 17, 2063 Leeward Lane, Hanover Park, was issued a citation for theft at 701 W. Schick Road at 2:15 p.m. May 28. Hines was released on her signature and will appear in court June 17 in Rolling Meadows.
Traffic, weapon arrests
Eric Nunez, 17, 2227 Newport Circle, Hanover Park, was arrested at 223 Burnside Drive at 5:07 p.m. May 29 and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Nunez was released on a bond and has a court date pending in Glendale Heights. Israel Vargas, 37, 223 Burnside Circle was arrested at that location and charged with possession of a weapon with no firearm owner’s identification card. Vargas was released on bond and has a court date June 16 in Wheaton.
Reckless driving
Armando Montiel, 17, 616 Philip Drive, was arrested at 764 Orchid Lane and charged with reckless driving at 7:17 p.m. May 30. Montiel was released on bond and has court date set for June 17 in Wheaton.
Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident
William Redden, 57, 279 Windsor Drive, was arrested at Stearns Road and County Farm Road and charged with no valid driver’s license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 7:42 p.m. May 30. Redden was released on bond and has a court date pending in Glendale Heights.
Underage drinking
Vanessa Lyn Shaw, 19, 780 Dunmore Lane was arrested at 1036 Valewood Drive and issued a citation for consumption by a minor and alcohol-adult responsibility at 1:12 a.m. June 1. Shaw was released to her parents and will appear in court July 7 in Rolling Meadows.
