• Nine RE/MAX offices in DuPage County were honored recently for their support of Children’s Memorial Hospital. Each office received a special award featuring original artwork created by patients at Children’s Memorial. The offices recognized with the award were: RE/MAX Preferred Properties, Addison; RE/MAX All Pro, Bloomingdale; RE/MAX Suburban, Glen Ellyn; RE/MAX Elite, Hinsdale; RE/MAX Action, Lisle and Oak Brook; RE/MAX of Naperville (North), Naperville; RE/MAX Professionals Select, Naperville; and RE/MAX Central, Roselle.
To qualify for the award, every agent affiliated with a winning office must donate to the hospital either an annual contribution or a set amount for each sale the agent closes during the year.
• DKI Services Corp. based in Wood Dale and the parent company of Disaster Kleenup International Inc., North America’s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, announced that it has acquired IntegResource Inc., a full-service resource management company based in Jacksonville, Fla. IntegResource provides disaster planning and response solutions to North America’s commercial property owners and managers.
• More than $155,000 was raised at the 13th annual Burn Prevention Golf Invitational June 10 at Cantigny Golf Club in Wheaton. The event is organized by the Illinois Burn Prevention Association. Money raised from this year’s event was donated to various organizations including $52,000 to “Camp I Am Me,” $90,000 to the Loyola University Medical Center-Burn Center and $15,000 to the NFSA Educational Fund.
