Fourth of July closings and traffic warnings for Bartlett

The village of Bartlett announced Village Hall will be closed July 3 and 4 for the Independence Day holiday.

It will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 6.

The Bartlett branch of the U.S. Postal Service will close at noon Friday, July 3, and remain closed for the weekend, reopening Monday, July 6, as well.

There will be no change to the Allied Waste pickup Tuesday, July 7.

The village also advises that after the Fourth of July fireworks Saturday, vehicles exiting onto South Bartlett Road north of Stearns Road will be directed north toward Devon Avenue.

All vehicles exiting onto South Bartlett Road south of Stearns Road will be directed south toward Schick Road, with vehicles exiting onto Stearns Road west of South Bartlett Road being directed west to Route 59.

Vehicles exiting onto Stearns Road east of South Bartlett Road will be directed east toward County Farm Road.
