Village Board passes special liquor license

At Bartlett's village board meeting tonight, trustees passed the proposed Class L Downtown Business District liquor license for Town Liquor and Food.
The Class L license will allow the business that plans to occupy approximately 2,735 square feet of the Town Center to sell liquor from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
The petitioner, Dhiraj Bhesania, originally proposed staying open until 12: 00 a.m. weekdays and 1:00 a.m. weekends. Bhesania changed his proposal, however, after the board expressed concern at its meeting Oct. 20.
