Jessica Schmidt and Mark Robbins have announced their engagement. Jessica is the daughter of Klaus and Ana Schmidt of Elmhurst. Mark is the son of Larry and Barbara Robbins of Elmhurst.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of York High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and women’s studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. She also earned a master’s degree in social service administration from the University of Chicago in 2007. She is employed with Advocate Health Care.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of York High School. He works as a U.S. Navy SEAL.
The wedding is planned for October 2008 in Chicago.
