Hanover Township to offer free health and wellness screenings in May

Hanover Township and the Streamwood Park District will offer free health and wellness screenings to seniors 65 and older on May 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Streamwood Park Place Family Recreational Center, 550 S. Park Blvd.

Residents will receive a “passport” and can take part in over 30 different screenings, including cholesterol, diabetes, Body Mass Index and more.

“Attendees will have fun while they find out where they stand on a number of key wellness areas,” Hanover Township Senior Services Director Barbara Kurth Schuldt said.
