Hanover Township will offer an open gym program for students to attend during spring break beginning on March 28 through March 31.
The free program, held since 1998, allows students to participate in activities including basketball and dodgeball.
“Spring break open gym is a great place for youth to come socialize with their friends and have fun experiences together while they are off from school, said Deanna Aister, Hanover Township outreach services coordinator.
Open gym will be held for students ages 5 to 14 at Bartlett Elementary School, 111 North Ave., door No. 6, Bartlett, on March 28; at Laurel Hill elementary, 1750 Laurel Ave., Hanover Park, for ages 5 to 14 on March 29; at Tefft Middle School, 1100 Shirley Ave., Streamwood, for ages 7 to 18 on March 30 and at Lords Park Elementary, 323 Waverly Drive, Elgin on March 31 for ages 5 to 14.
