Two charged with battery along College Boulevard
Michael A. Bogmenko, 27, of Cicero and Anthony G. Spillman, 24, of Montgomery were charged with battery after an incident at 12:15 a.m. Aug. 25 along the 800 block of College Boulevard.

Police: Man was driving drunk with child
Salvatore English, 18, 1744 Golden Gate Drive, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and prescription medication, consumption of alcohol by a minor and endangering the life of a child at 1:45 a.m. Aug. 23 near Addison Road and Armitage Avenue.
According to police, English had a juvenile in his vehicle at the time.

Resident is charged with drunken driving
Cleto Romero, 38, 749 Swift Road, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license and no insurance at 1:45 a.m. Aug. 23 near Church Road and Fullerton Avenue.

Man gets charged with cocaine possession
Fortino Medina, 31, 41 E. Blecke Ave., was charged with possession of a controlled substance after police allege he was in possession of cocaine at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at 19 Industrial Drive.

Police: Men tried to cash phony checks
James E. Binion, 20, of DeKalb and Steven L. Chew, 21, of Sauk Village were charged with forgery after police said they tried to cash invalid checks at 3 p.m. Aug. 9 at Wal-Mart, 1050 N. Rohlwing Road.
Chew was also charged with resisting arrest after he allegedly attempted to run from police.

Police probe money theft at business
Money was taken from a safe at a business along the 1000 block of South York Road. The incident was reported at 6 p.m. Aug. 28.
Police did not indicate how much money was taken. No suspect information was given.

Two Chicago men charged with trespassing
Johnnie Matthews, 39, and Carl Hawkins, 47, both of Chicago, where charged with criminal trespassing at 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at 101 E. Irving Park Road.

Police allege man violated protection order
Clifford Carter, 20, 123 Old Plank Road, was charged with violating an order of protection at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 26 at a residence along the 100 block of George Street.

Woman charged with having suspended license
Mary E. Herring, 41, 806 E. Irving Park Road, Itasca, was charged with driving with a suspended license at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 2 near Irving Park Road and Salt Creek.

Resident will face domestic battery charge
Sergio Vasquez-Arreola, a resident of the 400 block of East Itasca Street in Wood Dale, was charged with domestic battery at 4:30 a.m. Sept. 1 at his residence.
