Glass door damaged at residence
A sliding glass door at a residence along the 400 block of Green Oaks Court was damaged. The incident was reported at 11:15 p.m. Oct. 16. No damage estimate was provided.

Resident allegedly struck man with bottle
Osvaldo M. Ortiz, 45, 545 N. Highview Ave., was charged with battery and attempted obstruction of justice at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at 601 N. Highview.
According to police, Ortiz punched a victim and struck him in the head with a beer bottle. Police also said he had three outstanding arrest warrants and allegedly gave police a false name and birth date to avoid arrest on those warrants.

Truck tires stolen from trailers
Tires were stolen from two semi-truck trailers parked in a business lot along the 900 block of National Avenue between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14 and 7 p.m. Oct. 15.

Items taken in garage burglary
A welding tool and a leaf blower were taken from a garage along the 400 block of West Winthrop Avenue between 9 p.m. Oct. 14 and 10 a.m. Oct. 15.
Police did not indicate if the garage was unlocked. No loss estimate was given on the missing items.

Resident charged with domestic battery
Israle Medina, 28, of the 600 block of George Street, was charged with domestic battery at 10:15 p.m. Oct. 19 at his residence.

Man faces disorderly conduct charges
Alex Rivera, 21, 332 Gloria Jean Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 18 at 120 E. George St.

Spare tire taken from vehicle
A spare tire was taken off the back of a vehicle along the 800 block of Foster Avenue. The incident was reported at 5 p.m. Oct. 17.

Vehicle damaged; license plate taken
The driver’s side door and mirror of a car parked near York Road and Jacquelyn Driver were damaged. The incident was reported at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 19. One of the license plates was also stolen from the vehicle. No damage estimate was given.

Damage done to vacant house
Two doors were damaged on a vacant house along the first block of Roosevelt Avenue. The incident was reported at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 15.

Resident charged with license offense
Martin Molina, 36, 111 Bernice Drive, was charged with driving without a valid license at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 14 along the 1100 block of South York Road.

Itasca resident faces vagrancy charges
Christian Urruita, 21, 242 S. Cherry St., Itasca, was charged with vagrancy at 2:15 p.m. Oct. 13 at Irving Park Road and Garden Avenue.
