Police probe vehicle theft along Stevens Drive
Police are investigating a vehicle theft complaint after a person reported someone drove off with a vehicle left running in a parking lot.
The car, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, was reported stolen at about 6:45 a.m. Jan. 4 along the 500 block of Stevens Drive, police said.
Two vehicles burglarized along Green Oaks Court
Police said two residents reported having vehicles damaged and burglarized while they were parked along the 400 block of Green Oaks Court.
According to police, the passenger side window of a Chevrolet Impala was smashed, and an Alpine stereo was stolen. Police said a second vehicle, a Cadillac Escalade, had a window shattered. Nothing was reported stolen from that vehicle.
The incidents happened between Dec. 19 and Dec. 26, police said. No damage or loss estimates were given.
Bensenville man charged with drunken driving
Daniel P. Salatino, 24, 52 Stevens Drive, Bensenville, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage at about 12:45 a.m. Dec. 20 near the intersection of Fullerton and Villa avenues, police said.
Woman charged with DUI, disobeying police officer
Gina R. Lewis, 38, 540 Forest Drive, Addison, was charged with driving under the influence, disobeying police and no insurance at about 4 p.m. Dec. 18 near the intersection of Overkamp Avenue and Woodland Street, police said.

Local man charged with drug possession
Ivan Lopez, 26, 1050 W. Irving Park Road, Bensenville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance at about 12:45 a.m. Jan. 5 at 220 N. York Road, police said.
Two charged with property damage
Richard Baker, 19, 1182 Grove Ave., Bensenville, and Nicholas Esposito, 20, 472 Dunlay, Wood Dale, were both charged with criminal damage to property at about 5:30 a.m. Jan. 3 along the 100 block of Mason Street, police said.
Man charged with public drunkenness
Aurelio Hernandez, 35, 211 Roosevelt Ave., Bensenville, was charged with public intoxication at about 1:15 a.m. Jan. 1 at his residence, police said.
Wood Dale
Gas theft reported at Citgo station
Police said a employee at a gas station reported a woman pumped $20.54 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying at about 4:15 p.m. Jan. 5 at Citgo, 1001 N. Wood Dale Road.
Police said the woman was wearing a red and yellow jacket, and was seen driving a four-door silver vehicle.
Coin box money taken from 7Eleven
Police said an employee of a convenience store reported someone took money from a coin donation box on the counter of the store at about 10 a.m. Jan. 2 at 7Eleven, 316 E. Irving Park Road.
Police said between $100 and $150 was stolen. Police said the clerk identified a possible suspect who was seen near the box at the time of the theft, police said.
