Police: Burglary victim had warrants
Oscar D. Herrera, 21, 235 S. Hale St., was charged with two outstanding warrants after police said he reported a burglary to his vehicle at 7 a.m. Aug. 25 at his residence.
According to police, Herrera reported that someone entered his vehicle and took a stereo and amplifier. While police were taking his complaint, it was discovered he had warrants for his arrest from the Des Plaines and Glen Ellyn police departments, Addison officers said.

Resident charged with drunken driving
Patricia Luna, 39, 681 Moreland Ave., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance at 9 p.m.  Aug. 24 near Lake Street and Wood Dale Road.

Bensenville
Tires stolen from trailer at business
Four tires were removed from a semitrailer at an unnamed business on the 900 block of Fairway Drive. The incident was reported at 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

Electronics, jewelry taken from apartment
Several electronic and jewelry items were taken from an apartment unit on the 1000 block of Argyle Street. The incident was reported at 5 p.m. Friday. No loss estimate was given.

Resident charged with drunken driving
Patrick Norwood, 47, 5N104 Route 83, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 9 p.m. Saturday near Route 83 and Thorndale Avenue.

Two charged with alcohol possession
Emmanuel Nogueda, 19, 240 S. Harvard Ave., Addison, and Efrain Olivas, 17, 501 E. Red Oak St., were both charged with possession of alcohol by a minor at 8 p.m. Sept. 11 at 1018 W. Irving Park Road.

Wood Dale

Computer, TV taken from apartment
A computer and a TV set were taken from an apartment on the 300 block of North Cedar Avenue. The incident was reported at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. No loss value was given.

Addison woman faces battery charges
Monica Beltran, 22, 555 Valerie Lane, Unit 7, Addison, was charged with four counts of domestic battery at 11:20 p.m. Monday  at a residence on the 400 block of East Elmhurst Street.

Parts stolen off Cadillac
Four lug nut caps, valued at $300 each, were taken from the wheels of a 2004 Cadillac  parked on the 200 block of Cedar Avenue. The incident was reported at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Police: Driver had suspended license
Joseph Earner, 40, of Chicago was charged with driving with a suspended license at about 5:20 p.m. Friday  near Commercial and Walnut streets.
