DuPage County, IL -

The DuPage Senior Citizens Council and Metropolitan Asian Family Services have partnered to open a second site offering authentic Indian food for senior citizens throughout DuPage County.

The food will now be available at the Lombard MAFS center, 330 E. Roosevelt Road, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.

Seniors are asked to make a donation toward the cost of their meal and complimentary transportation is available. Call (630) 705-1208 to register and schedule a pick-up.

Last year, the groups launched the program at the Senior Citizens Council’s Roselle nutrition site, which serves Indian meals every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to more than 40 seniors.

The council’s senior nutrition program provides DuPage County seniors healthy meals through its home-delivered meals and community dining programs. The program is available to all seniors age 60 and older.

Call (630) 620-0804 for more information.
