
The DuPage County Health Department is giving smokers a chance to kick the habit with a free class in Bensenville.
Health Department personnel offer seven-week classes to help residents quit smoking.
The class runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays, beginning Sept. 15, at the Bensenville Park District, 1000 W. Wood St.
Classes are offered at other dates and locations throughout the county
The classes are free. They use behavior modification and nicotine-replacement therapies, such as patches, gum and lozenges.
