Addison School District planning Cinco de Mayo celebration

ADDISON, IL -
The Addison School District 4 Education Foundation for Excellence will host its 3rd annual International Family Fun Fair celebrating Cinco de Mayo from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 9, at Indian Trail Junior High School, 222 N. Kennedy Drive.
The entire community is invited to the event, which will include free games provided by the District 4 PTAs, inflatables, face painting, and music by the Indian Trail Jazz Ensemble.
Foundation officers will present 23 mini-grants to teachers totaling more than $9,000 in awards for special projects that will be implemented during the 2008-09 school year.
Local eateries La Huerta, Nardi’s, Sinagra Catering and Uncle Harry’s Ice Cream will offer a variety of items for purchase.
