In 2A boys, St. Francis senior Dan Weizeorick was an all-state sixth (15:07.19). The Spartans were 14th and Glenbard South 23rd.
“I got passed by three guys to miss all-state (28th in 2018). When I was at my worst point, [coach Scott Nelson] was there for me,” Weizeorick said. “Ever since that day, I wanted to do this for him. And for all of my teammates.”
